MAXTRAX Mounting Pins — Secure Mount for MKII Recovery Tracks

These mounting pins are engineered to securely hold MAXTRAX MKII 4WD Recovery Tracks, providing dependable retention for either 2 or 4 boards. Built for roof racks, flat racks, crossbars, and dedicated mounting systems, they offer a strong, vibration-resistant solution for serious off-road use.

Each pin is constructed from durable glass-filled nylon and paired with stainless steel quick-release hardware. A padlock-ready hole at the top adds an additional layer of security when storing valuable recovery gear. Hardware is included, making installation straightforward and reliable.

40mm Mounting Pins

Each 40mm pin weighs 100 grams and measures 140mm in total length, including 40mm of 10mm-diameter thread. This size is ideal for standard mounting applications and general roof-rack configurations. Each pin comes with a stainless steel Nyloc nut and a flat washer.

17mm Mounting Pins

The 17mm pins also weigh 100 grams each and measure 117mm in total length, including 17mm of 10mm-diameter thread. They are specifically suited for compact mounting locations and are the ideal length for the MAXTRAX Flat Rack Mount. Stainless steel Nyloc nuts and flat washers are included.

MAXTRAX MAXLOX 30mm Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Padlock Dual Pack

This dual pack includes two MAXTRAX MAXLOX 30mm heavy-duty stainless steel padlocks, each with a protective silicone cover. Designed to secure and protect your MAXTRAX 4WD Recovery Tracks from potential theft, these padlocks work seamlessly with any MAXTRAX Mounting Pins.

To use, feed the padlock shank through the padlock hole in the shaft of a mounting pin and close the padlock. This provides a reliable lock for your recovery tracks whether they are mounted on roof racks, flat racks, or crossbars.

For traveling and off-road adventures, it is recommended to secure your MAXTRAX with these padlocks while ensuring that all mounting pins are turned to the lock position, offering maximum protection against unauthorized removal.

Externally, the bag’s zippers include provisions for a padlock, adding security for your recovery equipment. Internally, bright safety orange lining combined with protective black mesh safeguards the tracks and the bag itself from environmental factors. The MAXTRAX Mini Bag also features a small internal storage compartment for added convenience.
