ActionTrac™ powered running boards feature an innovative, patented step-within-a-step™ design for your offroad ride. The main housing has an integrated, non-skid stepping surface along the top edge and contours to the vehicle's rocker panels for a sleek, aftermarket look. When the door opens, the control module automatically deploys the 3" wide power step, offering an 8" drop from the 4" wide top step and up to 15" from the doorsill, depending on the application. The two steps combined make ActionTrac™ the perfect lifted truck steps, offering safer, easier entry and exit from the vehicle, particularly on larger Jeeps or trucks. They're also ideal for families with younger children and for elderly passengers. When the door closes again, the power step retracts to be safely concealed within the housing.

RidgeStep® running boards are built entirely from steel to ensure maximum strength for tough jobs and wild trails. They have no plastic parts, meaning they won't crack or fade over time. With each step up into your truck, you'll have a solid foothold and a rigid stepping surface for confident entry or exit.

The all-steel construction of these truck running boards is particularly advantageous for enhancing traction. RidgeSteps® are covered with protruding, circular, all-steel treads that lock onto your boots with each climb, regardless of wet or muddy conditions. Because the treads are made from steel, they won't wear down like plastic alternatives. The 6-1/2" wide profile always provides reliable traction and a comfortable first step for the trail or job ahead.

While many side accessories feature a universal track mounting system for easier installation and inventory requirements, the ARIES VersaTrac® mounting system takes things a step further. VersaTrac® uses a single set of vehicle-specific brackets to accommodate different side accessory options. This not only means different finish options but also different products entirely. With the brackets installed, any side bar or running board equipped with the VersaTrac® mounting system can be attached or swapped out whenever desired.
