Combining what we've learned from years of hands-on experience and customer feedback, the new Condor 2 has been completely redesigned with upgraded materials, a sturdier construction, and a feature-rich interior that together represents a generational leap forward in the evolution of rooftop tents.
An ideal companion to any vehicle, the Condor 2 houses a queen-sized sleeping area that folds out from a compact footprint. The completely redesigned and reinforced shell is finished with a ruggedized Line-X coating, and now has the ability to mount optional crossbars -- an industry first for an ABS foldout. The interior has been significantly upgraded with a dedicated interior duffle to store sleeping bags and a 2" one-piece true memory foam mattress.
Additional Upgrades Include: 2x HVAC ports for a heater or A/C, 3x dimmable LEDs (interior and exterior), six pocket gear-grid, blackout tent material, updated 3-way windows and heavy duty lockable latches.

Q: Can my roof rack carry the weight of a tent with people in it?
A: There are two different weight ratings when it comes to your roof rack. The first is the "dynamic" weight limit. This is what your roof rack can carry while you're driving around. For most cars (this does NOT include clip on/door jam racks) this weight limit is around 165 lbs, just enough to carry a tent. These same racks typically hold upwards of 500 lbs of static weight. So it's fine for you to get up into your tent while the vehicle is parked.
Q: How many people can this tent actually sleep?
A: Same as ground tents, the occupancy number of a tent is typically high by one. A three person rooftop tent is just slightly larger in width than a double/standard mattress. While it's fully possible to fit three people into one you're going to have a much easier time getting some sleep with only two. Same goes for a 4-person tent: it's best with a maximum of three people.
