The BAKFlip F1 is aesthetically similar to BAK’s best-selling BAKFlip G2, although it features one key difference—the substitution of high-density foam-core panels in place of the G2’s solid-core aluminum panels. Though retaining aluminum lower skins, the BAKFlip F1 employs heavy-duty FRP (fiber-reinforced plastic) top skins for superior durability. Not only are these panels aesthetically pleasing, with their glossy textured finish, but they’re also impact-resistant with their rigid high-density foam core. The panels are also exceptionally stout, withstanding up to 400 pounds of evenly distributed cargo.
