The Falcon 3 EVO represents the next stage in the evolution of our flagship overlanding tent, the Falcon Pro. With more livable space in a smaller footprint than competitors, supersized windows for maximum ventilation, and a completely redesigned and reinforced Line-X ruggedized top shell, this tent checks all the boxes for serious adventurers.
The EVO top shell is made of sturdy ABS, lined with ultra durable Line-X for best in class impact, scratch, and UV resistance. Its innovative new form factor now allows the storage of bedding inside the tent when closed. The all-aluminum side rails can still support 75 lbs of gear per side or 150 lbs of gear on the tent roof with the optional 6-channel crossbars.
The EVO also utilizes the Roofnest U-bar design which increases the livable space – think head and footroom, by 30% over traditional clamshell designs.

Q: Can my roof rack carry the weight of a tent with people in it?
A: There are two different weight ratings when it comes to your roof rack. The first is the "dynamic" weight limit. This is what your roof rack can carry while you're driving around. For most cars (this does NOT include clip on/door jam racks) this weight limit is around 165 lbs, just enough to carry a tent. These same racks typically hold upwards of 500 lbs of static weight. So it's fine for you to get up into your tent while the vehicle is parked.
Q: How many people can this tent actually sleep?
A: Same as ground tents, the occupancy number of a tent is typically high by one. A three person rooftop tent is just slightly larger in width than a double/standard mattress. While it's fully possible to fit three people into one you're going to have a much easier time getting some sleep with only two. Same goes for a 4-person tent: it's best with a maximum of three people.
