Q: Are traditional tools required to install this?

A: No! Any tools required for installing this rack product come included in the box!

Q: Do my snowboards have to centered on a clamp style ski rack?

A: Not at all. How far apart the two ski rack clamps, and how wide your stance is set up on your board, is going to be different for everyone. If you're unable to fit both bindings between the two clamps it's just fine to load your board with one binding in front or behind. If you only have one board being loaded it's often best to load your board with your bindings facing down.

Q: Will this fit my car, and is it easy to install?

A: If your vehicle has crossbars this rack is easy and quick to install in about 15 minutes. If your vehicle doesn't have any crossbars then you will have to get those first (excluding the Thule Snowcat or SportRack Groomer 8, which only need raised rails to mount).

Q: Can I match the keys of this ski rack to my other rack locks?

A: With Thule and Yakima, you can specify a key number with your order, and we will match any included or purchased locks (subject to availability). This is not possible with other brands.

Q: Does this come with the 2 racks or just 1?

A: All of the ski racks we sell come as a pair!

Q: Does the Powderhound rack come standard with clamps that work on my OEM cross bars?

A: This will fit nearly all factory cross bars. If you think yours are too large, give us a call to confirm!
