Always a great experience at Rack attack!

This is a quality product. However, I think I may have found something the product designers didn't think about. I purchased a tire cover to keep the spare somewhat clean. The design of such covers has the cover wrap around somewhat to the other side of the tire to keep it firmly in place. I discovered after I mounted the tire on the rack that I couldn't get the tire cover all the way onto the tire the way the cover is meant to be. Next time I take the spare off, I will try to find a spacer of some sort to fit between the cargo basket and the tire to raise the tire perhaps a quarter inch, just so the cover will slide around and under the bottom side of the spare tire. I haven't thought it through to imagine what that spacer will look like, but it would have been really excellent if Yakima had done that thinking and offered a solution for me.
